Carousel-Styles CC (boxes) & CS (bags)

The Crizaf Box and Bag Filling Carousels can be used to provide hours of unattended filling. Boxes are placed on the platform - or box positioners can be ordered to provide precise placement. Bag holders can also be ordered for the Crizaf Carousel. To allow the maximum number of bags to fit on a platform, holders are custom designed to specific bag sizes and come in triangle, trapezoid, or ring shapes.

How it works

A machine, robot or Weigh hopper count is entered into the controller. When the pre set count is met (a 24VDC signal or dry contact is required), the carousel automatically rotates to the next station.
At a pre-determined point in the cycle (ie. last bag filling, last bag full etc.), the unit will either signal an operator to refill or send a signal to the molding machine to shut down

Features

To prevent spillage, the feeding conveyor stops during the indexing motion of the platform. However, to allow uninterrupted operation of the molding machine, the counter continues to accept incoming count signals as the Carousel turns

Each size can be programmed to accomodate 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 or 24 fill positions

Available sizes

Sizes range from 800mm (31.5") to 2000mm ( 78.7") in 100mm increments. With four standard sizes available for Zip Ship (800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm & 1500mm)
To determine the correct ring size, measure the width of the bag at its opening. Then multiply the width of the bag x 2 and then divide by 3.14. Order the ring size closest to being at least 1" less than the diameter of the bag.

Optional features:

Box holders on the turntable platform assure that boxes are placed in the correct position
A second level platform for boxes and bags doubles the capacity using the same floor space as a single level system, and was designed to fit at the end of the molding machine
When filling bags, an optional diverter can be used for 2-level systems. Once the lower level is filled, the diverter flips to the second position, which diverts the parts to the upper level
