Cooling Conveyors

Ambient-Air Cooling Conveyors

Blowing ambient air over warm parts is an excellent and cost efficient way to cool and stabalize parts before they are packed or sent to a work station.

Under the Press

This cooling conveyor fits fits nicely under the press. Two ambient air blowers begin cooling the parts as soon as they leave the mold - a stainless steel hood contains the air and helps to keep it moving evenly around the parts. A variable speed motor allows the air flow to be adjusted depending upon the needs of the application. An underpress hopper assures parts containment.

Different Fan Configurations
This cooling conveyor cools parts as they move down the incline. Parts are placed on the top section by a robot and filled into containers as they leave. A Lexan™ cover allows the parts to be checked as they pass through.
Both the horizontal and incline areas of this conveyor are covered by a cooling tunnel. An accordion pleated connector allows the angle to be easily adjusted, while containing the colder air in the tunnel.

Compartmentalized Box-Filling System with Cooling

This compartmentalized, box-filling system was designed with an anbient air cooling tunnel on the feeding conveyor. As parts travel down the feeding conveyor air is blown over them to cool and stabilize them. By the time they reach the end, they are cool enough to be packed without being damaged.
